Launcher v3.19 – WoW Client Settings and Bug Fixes

October 26, 2026

Highlights

  • WoW Client Settings – Set your resolution, display mode, anti-aliasing and frame rate for Warcraft Multiverse right from the launcher, before the game ever opens.
  • Downloads stay on your game drive – Installs and updates no longer install temporarily to your C: drive first, so a big install no longer fills it up.

New Features

  • WoW Client Settings – Open the gear menu on the World of Warcraft page and choose Client Settings. Pick your resolution (720p up to 4K, ultrawide included, even modes the in-game Video menu won’t list), refresh rate, Windowed or Borderless Window, Vertical Sync, anti-aliasing up to 8x, and a max frame rate. Changes apply the next time you start the game. Available on the WoW test server page too.
  • A sharper first launch – Warcraft Multiverse now starts at 1920 x 1080 the first time you play, instead of the client’s tiny default. If you’ve already picked a resolution, it stays exactly as you set it.

Bug Fixes

  • Install fetching only a couple of files – Choosing a new install folder, or deleting a game’s folder yourself, could make Install grab a few files and call it done. The launcher now checks the folder itself and installs the full client.
  • WoW “required file is missing” on update – World of Warcraft updates no longer fail with “A required file is missing on the update server.”
