Guilds of the Multiverse

One banner.
Every world.

A Malevolent guild isn't tied to a single game. Found it once and it follows you across World of Warcraft, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes, EverQuest and Legends of Aria, with its own guild hall, feed, calendar, ranks and recruitment.

How it works

From a name to a legion in four steps

  1. 1

    Found

Name your guild, pick its colors and choose the worlds you play. You're its Owner from the first second, and it gets a guild hall of its own.

  2. 2

    Gather

Open recruitment and write a note for each world or WoW realm. Players apply from the Recruitment Board, and WoW applicants can attach their characters straight from the realm.

  3. 3

    Organize

Build ranks with exactly the permissions you want, pin announcements to the feed, and plan raids and meetups on your guild calendar.

  4. 4

    Bridge

Link the in-game guild you lead on a WoW realm or in Star Wars Galaxies, then see its roster, invite, set ranks and the message of the day from the web.

What your guild gets

Everything a guild hall needs

Your own guild hall

A banner, a crest, your colors, a tagline and a message of the day for members. No logo yet? Your guild gets a heraldic crest in its colors automatically.

A members-only feed

Posts with images, comments and likes. Officers can pin up to three announcements to the top.

Guild calendar

Schedule events and take sign-ups. The next few show up on your guild hall so nobody misses raid night.

Ranks & permissions

Add as many ranks as you like, color them, order them, and hand out seven separate permissions.

Recruitment & applications

A note per world and realm, a place on the Recruitment Board, and an application queue your officers are notified about.

In-game guild link

WoW realms and Star Wars Galaxies today. On WoW, approved applicants' characters can join the in-game guild automatically. EverQuest, City of Heroes and Legends of Aria are coming soon.

Invites

Officers can invite any member of the community by name. The invite waits on their profile under My Guilds.

Milestones & guild log

Eleven guild milestones fill in as you grow, and a guild log records joins, promotions and in-game actions.

One banner, five worlds

Play together wherever you play

Tick every world your guild plays. World of Warcraft realms count separately, so a guild can recruit on Classic+ and stay closed on FFA-PvP. Your members see one guild hall no matter which game they log into tonight.

Ranks & permissions

Every new guild starts with three ranks

Rename them, recolor them, add more between them. A rank's order sets who outranks whom: officers can only promote or remove members below their own rank.

Questions

Good to know

Does founding a guild cost anything?

No. Any community member can found a guild for free, and there's no limit on members.

Can I be in more than one guild?

Yes. Many players keep one guild per game or realm. All of your guilds are listed on your profile under My Guilds.

Do I need a character in-game to join?

No. Guilds live on the website, so you can join before you ever log in. Guilds that link an in-game guild on a WoW realm can add your characters to it once your application is accepted.

Who can see our feed and calendar?

Only members. Visitors see your guild hall's overview: your story, the worlds you play, your leaders, your milestones and your recruitment notes.

How does linking an in-game guild work?

From the Game Servers tab, the guild's Owner or an officer with settings access can claim an in-game guild. Only guilds where your linked character is the in-game leader can be claimed, so nobody can take over a guild they don't run. WoW realms and Star Wars Galaxies are supported today.

What happens when someone applies?

Everyone who can review applications gets a notification. They accept or decline from the guild's Recruitment tab, and the applicant is notified either way. Accepted players join the guild at its lowest rank.
