How it works

One ticket, start to finish

There is no separate inbox and no form that disappears into nothing. What you send becomes a record with a reference, and the same record is what the crew works from.

You send
What went wrongA one-line summary and what you were doing.
Screenshots or logsOptional, and the single most useful thing you can add.
Character and realmOptional. It saves us asking which one you meant.
One desk

Every world and every service files into the same queue, so a report about Azeroth and a question about your account are read by the same crew, in the same place.

You get back
A referenceYours the moment it is filed. Quote it anywhere.
A statusWhere it has got to, in plain English, any time you look.
A replyRings your notification bell on this site when the crew answers.
Where it got to

Every status, in plain English

These are the exact words you will see on your own ticket. Two of them are worth knowing: Needs your reply means it is waiting on you, and Released means the fix is on the server you play on, not just in our build.

NewFiled and in the queue. Nobody has read it yet.
In triageA crew member is reading it and working out what it is.
Needs your replyWe asked you something. It waits here until you answer.
AcceptedConfirmed as real and on the list to be done.
Being worked onSomeone has it open right now.
BlockedHeld up by something else that has to happen first.
ResolvedFixed in our build, not yet on the server you play on.
ReleasedLive on the server. This is the one that means go and try it.
ClosedFinished, or nothing further to do.
MergedThe same thing as another ticket, which now carries both of you.
DeclinedNot something we are going to do, with a reason on the ticket.
