About Malevolent GamingFrom one guild to nine worlds
We started in 1999 as an EverQuest guild. Twenty-seven years later we build and run the servers ourselves — classic MMOs preserved, pushed forward, and hosted on our own dedicated hardware.
From a guild to a community
Malevolent Gaming began in 1999 as a tight-knit EverQuest guild. Everything since — the hosting, the custom servers, the multiverse — grew out of that one roster.
A guild is born
Malevolent Gaming began as a tight-knit EverQuest guild. Over the decades we fought side by side across every major MMO landscape — Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic. A group of raid leaders and guildmates became a community.
We start hosting
We launched our own dedicated survival servers. As new games released the library grew, driven by the same idea every time: reliable, player-first places to play.
We build the worlds
Decades of MMO experience and hosting went into custom private server environments — the legendary gameplay preserved, with original features, dedicated infrastructure and a modern community around it.

Nostalgia, built properly
Keep the golden era alive
To keep the golden era of online gaming alive by creating the ultimate player-driven home for classic and custom server experiences.
Honor it properly
To honor gaming history through high-performance, custom-built MMO and multiplayer environments — delivering nostalgic gameplay, a tight-knit community, and reliable hosting for gamers who value the passion behind the pixels.
The worlds we run
Nine worlds, one account, one set of Renown and Shards across all of them. Five are live today; the rest are in build.

Behind the council sits the staff of every server — developers, artisans, community leaders, moderators and testers who keep each world running. Those seats are open.
Run a world with us
Every server here exists because someone wanted it to. Roles open across the network and inside each game — no Malevolent Gaming account needed to apply, just your Discord name.
Code, content and world-building — maintaining the server, fixing bugs and building the custom features each project is known for.
Art, 3D models, UI and graphical assets. The people who give a project its own visual identity.
The voice between the players and the development team: recruitment, community health, and making sure feedback lands where it counts.
Keeping in-game chat and the Discord friendly, welcoming and helpful — answering questions, helping newcomers, applying the guidelines fairly.
Hands-on early access to current and upcoming builds: test mechanics, hunt bugs and feed it all back before the code reaches live players.
A network-wide role leading recruitment and player engagement across every game we run.
Like what we do?
Help keep the Multiverse going. Every world we run is paid for by the players who love it. Donate, then find yourself on the leaderboard under your account name — or stay anonymous, if you prefer.
Special thanks
Private servers are built on shared work. These people and projects helped ours exist.
