Instant Travel Vehicles are built in now. Choose Use on your parked ship, pick a destination on the travel map, and you are there — no shuttleport, no ticket.

Every planet, every cantina and every sandbox system that made Star Wars Galaxies legendary is still here. What has changed is everything around it: ships you call down and fly straight off the ground, world bosses that pull the whole server together, new species, new stories, and a long list of fixes that keep you playing instead of commuting.
Everything on this page is live on the server unless it is marked Coming soon. The roadmap at the bottom covers what is in development.
Call your ship down, walk aboard and fly it straight off the planet. The ground is where the flight begins.

Ships you can walk inside act as a player house that goes wherever you do. Land it by the dig site, the city or the boss fight, and home is a short walk away.

Take the controls and fly low over the planet. Keep climbing past the flight ceiling and you break atmosphere into that planet’s space zone.

Conversations now happen in one holographic window — the speaker, their words and your replies together — instead of chat bubbles and stacked pop-ups.
It is the foundation every new Ancient Empire story is built on, with a cleaner quest journal to match.
Eleven classes, each with its own storyline woven into the Ancient Empire saga. The gold pads are brand-new classes on the way.

Every class gets its own storyline tied into the Ancient Empire saga, in the spirit of the Old Republic’s class stories — with exclusive rewards and account perks for finishing every chapter.
Build your crew. Recruit characters who follow you across the stars, wear the gear you give them, support you with buffs and fight directly at your side.
Heroics are instanced and every NGE server has them. World bosses are different: they spawn out in the open galaxy, and everyone who answers the call gets a piece of the fight.
A shard of kyber twisted by the corrupt multiverse — and the currency every boss hunter on the server is chasing.
The Corrupt Gorax sheds fragments by the handful, and every named boss inside a Heroic instance drops one too.
Heroic fragments land straight in every participant’s inventory. No rolling, no arguing.
Vora the Shard-Weaver, a Nightsister Elder, sells exclusive rewards for fragments — she will not take credits. Find her with /way or the planet map.
The Nightsisters run through Ancient Empire — as a merchant, a world boss, and soon a class and species of your own.

Three new species join the eight classics, right from character creation. Pick one to take a closer look.

Amphibious and green-skinned, with head tendrils sensitive enough to read the emotions of everyone nearby. Kit Fisto is the most famous Nautolan the galaxy has known.
Blue-skinned and red-eyed, from a disciplined military culture that stayed hidden from the wider galaxy for centuries — the people of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Colorful head-tails and hollow montrals that give a form of passive echolocation. Pack hunters: fiercely independent, and fiercely loyal to their own.

Seated in meditation, the Force waits for your choice.

Sit, meditate, and after a short trance a choice window lets you pick the buff you want — instead of rolling the dice.
Try it: choose a focus in the window.

Full banking from your living room: credits, your safety deposit box and the Galactic Reserve, from a terminal placed in your home.
The Galactic Market, anywhere a City Mayor places one. Citizens buy, sell and browse without a trip to the starport.
A self-service Image Designer inside a placeable city Salon. Restyle on the spot without waiting for an Entertainer.
A full Medic buff package for a small fee that scales with your level. No Medic online? No problem.
The full 20-point entertainer buff builder for any character and any profession — no dancer required. Buffs last three hours.
Terminal buffs run for three hours, so one stop covers a full session.
An opt-in third row of slots for abilities, items and macros — or keep the cleaner default look.
/forage anywhere, once every 30 seconds — no walk-around macros.
In development now. None of this has a release date yet, and details may change before it ships.
Everything your members already do — missions, quests, the Galactic Civil War, space combat — earns Guild Favor. Each week it converts into Guild XP and levels the whole guild, one rank at a time, all the way to 25.

Help the Galactic Antiquities guild find and source rare artifacts and relics to earn unique rewards: schematics, speeders and mounts, creature DNA, decorations, deeds, droids and more.

Join the Jawa tribes in finding and selling scrap ships, speeders and other salvage from around the galaxy. Earn schematics, speeders and mounts, creature DNA, decorations, deeds, droids and more.

Leveling returns to politics. Earn new ranks by completing new Civic Missions, and unlock new city perks, civic structures, decorations and more.

New skills and multiple pets. Beast crafting expertise moves to a new crafting profession of its own.

Like Beast Mastery, but for machines: an expertise focused on droid combat and controlling several droids at once.

Sith and Jedi split into separate classes, each drawing on its own connection to the Force. Jedi specialize in DPS, Tank and — new — Healer. Sith specialize in DPS, Tank and a passive group heal and DPS path.

The most feared warriors in the galaxy, mixing melee and ranged combat styles.

Fight at range or up close while you command a squad into battle. Choose droids, soldiers, or mercenaries such as pirates and thugs.
