What is Classic+?
Classic+ is our flagship reimagining of vanilla Azeroth: the level-60 world you remember, rebuilt on a modern 3.3.5 foundation and expanded with the content the old world never got. Zones that were left unfinished are opening their gates, brand-new questlines weave through the classic leveling journey, and behind it all a Malevolent threat is gathering — a storyline you will only find here.
This is old-school world design with fresh adventures: the pacing, danger and community of classic, without the parts that held it back. Talents have been rebalanced so every spec is a viable way to play, and modern quality-of-life touches smooth the rough edges while leaving the heart of vanilla untouched.
Classic+ is also the first chapter of a longer journey. Everything you collect here is shared account-wide with our progressive realms — and when you are ready for the Dark Portal, your hero can walk through it without leaving this world behind.

Reaching level 60 on Classic+ doesn’t make you choose between eras — it unlocks the next one. When you’re ready for Outland, clone your character to Burning Crusade+: an exact copy steps through the Dark Portal and pushes on toward 70, while the original stays right here, untouched. You can start a fresh character on any realm you like — cloning is for players chasing the progression experience, carrying one hero upward through the eras instead of starting over.
Your Clone Marches On
The copy arrives on Burning Crusade+ as a full level-60 version of your hero, ready to begin the Outland campaign — and when it reaches 70 there, the same door opens again toward Wrath of the Lich King+.
Your Original Stays Home
Nothing is moved or lost. Your Classic+ character keeps raiding era content, keeps earning gear, and keeps running dungeons with the friends and guild you built here — both versions of your hero live on.
